Description

In preparation of a proposal of the above project to submit to the Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme for funding, the Zoological Society London (ZSL) commissioned socioceconomic surveys in the project area, which comprises nine protected areas in the Terai Arc Landscape in Nepal and India. ZSL recruited me for an urgent analysis and com-pilation of the two reports into one, and to extract recommendations for project inception planning and project design. The analysis and compilation followed the guidelines for envi-ronmental and social screening of the IUCN.
